Terms & Conditions
The short version
- RestoCare connects restaurants and other food businesses with independent, verified professionals for shift staffing and kitchen services, and sells kitchen cleaning supplies.
- You pay in advance through the platform. Prices are shown before you pay, with GST added.
- The professionals are independent. They aren't RestoCare's employees, and a booking doesn't make them yours.
- You provide a safe workplace, keep work within the role you booked, and treat professionals with respect.
- Cancellations and refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
This summary is here to help. The full Terms below are what apply.
1. Who we are and what these Terms cover
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply when you use:
- the RestoCare website at www.restocare.in,
- the RestoCare mobile apps, and
- any booking or order you make through them.
Together, we call these the "Platform".
RestoCare is operated by Restroedge Private Limited, a company incorporated in India (CIN: U86900DL2024PTC438872), with its registered office at KD-180 Kohat Enclave, Pitampura, Delhi - 110034. In these Terms, "RestoCare", "we" and "us" mean Restroedge Private Limited.
By creating an account, making a booking or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Platform.
These Terms are for customers: restaurants, cafés, cloud kitchens, hotels and other businesses, and the people who book on their behalf. Professionals who provide services through RestoCare ("Service Partners") are covered by separate Partner Terms.
2. Using RestoCare for your business
To use the Platform, you must be at least 18 and authorised to make bookings and payments for the business you represent. Anything booked from your account is treated as booked by you.
Please give us accurate details and keep them up to date: your business name, service address, contact number and, if you want GST invoices, your GSTIN.
The Platform is designed for business use. If you book as an individual, these Terms still apply to you. Nothing in them takes away any rights you have as a consumer under Indian law.
3. Your account
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP). You're responsible for keeping your phone secure and for everything done through your account. If you think someone else has used your account, tell us straight away.
RestoCare will never ask you to share your OTP, whether by phone, WhatsApp or any other channel. Don't share it with anyone who asks.
We may suspend or close an account that's used for fraud, abuse, non-payment or a breach of these Terms (see section 20).
4. How RestoCare works
What we offer. RestoCare arranges shift staffing and kitchen services through independent Service Partners:
- Staffing: chefs, kitchen helpers, waiters, and utility and housekeeping staff.
- Kitchen services: such as commercial kitchen deep cleaning.
We also sell kitchen cleaning chemicals and supplies. Services marked "Coming soon" can't be booked yet.
Service Partners are independent. They are independent professionals. They are not employees of RestoCare, and booking one through the Platform doesn't make them your employee.
Who we send. We choose which Service Partner to assign to your booking. If the assigned professional becomes unavailable, we may assign another professional with suitable skills.
5. Bookings
Making a booking. You choose:
- the service,
- the option (for staffing, the shift window and duration; for other services, the package),
- the date and time, and
- the address.
Some options are only available in certain areas or at certain times. We currently serve Delhi NCR.
When a booking is confirmed. A booking is confirmed only when your payment succeeds and the Platform shows it as confirmed. We may decline or cancel a booking and refund you in full if:
- no suitable professional is available,
- the address is outside our service area,
- we suspect fraud, or
- the price shown was clearly wrong.
Shift length. Professionals work the duration you booked, within the booked shift window. A shift can only be extended if the professional agrees and the extra time is arranged through RestoCare support. We don't offer shifts longer than 10 hours in a day.
6. Prices, taxes and payment
Prices. Prices are shown on the Platform when you book. We may change prices for future bookings. A change never affects a booking that's already confirmed.
GST. Prices are shown exclusive of GST. GST at the applicable rate is added and shown before you pay.
Paying. You pay in advance, online, through the Platform. We don't store your full card details.
Invoices. We issue a tax invoice for every booking and order. To claim input tax credit, add your GSTIN at checkout, before you pay.
Coupons and offers.
- Each offer has its own conditions, shown with the offer.
- Unless an offer says otherwise, you can use one coupon per booking, and coupons can't be combined.
- Coupons have no cash value.
- We may withdraw an offer, or refuse it where it's being misused, for example by creating several accounts to claim a first-booking offer more than once.
Pay only through the Platform. Please don't pay a Service Partner directly for work booked through RestoCare. Payments made outside the Platform aren't covered by our refund policy or our support. Tipping is up to you.
7. Your responsibilities during a shift or service
Access and information. Make sure someone can let the professional in at the start time, and that we can reach you on the number you gave us. Put any specific requirements in the booking notes, for example the cuisine, the dress code or who to report to.
A safe workplace. Provide a safe place to work. That includes:
- safe equipment,
- drinking water,
- access to toilets, and
- reasonable breaks.
You must also follow the laws that apply at your premises, including fire safety, food safety and labour laws.
Your operations stay yours. You direct the day-to-day work of staffing professionals at your premises. You remain responsible for running your business, including food safety and hygiene, and your FSSAI licence and compliance.
Keep to the role you booked. Only ask professionals to do work that reasonably falls within the role you booked. For example, a waiter booked for floor service shouldn't be asked to deep-clean the kitchen. Never ask anyone to do anything unsafe. If you need a different role, make a new booking.
Working hours. Don't ask a professional to stay past the end of the booked shift unless the extension has been arranged as described in section 5. They must be free to leave when the shift ends.
Respect. Treat every professional with dignity. Harassment of any kind, including sexual harassment, is not tolerated, and neither are abuse, discrimination, threats, or holding on to a professional's documents or belongings. If any of this happens, we may end the service immediately and suspend your account, and we'll cooperate with the authorities.
8. Service Partners
We expect professionals to arrive on time, follow your reasonable instructions within the booked role, and behave professionally. If something isn't right, tell the professional and tell us. We take reports seriously and will look into them.
9. Product orders
Using products safely. Product descriptions and images are for guidance. Always follow the label and safety instructions: dilute as directed, never mix chemicals, and store products safely and out of reach of children. "Food-safe" claims apply only when a product is used as directed. We aren't responsible for harm caused by misuse.
Delivery. Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates. Once an order is delivered, responsibility for it passes to you, so please check it on arrival.
Returns. Cancellations and returns follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
10. Problems, damage and loss
If something goes wrong during a service, raise it with the professional and contact us straight away.
Damage or loss. If you believe a professional has damaged or lost your property, report it within 24 hours, with photos and details. We'll look into it with the professional and help resolve it. Any compensation is subject to section 18.
Keep cash and valuables secured while professionals are on your premises.
11. Cancellations and refunds
Our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when you can get a refund for a cancelled booking.
12. Messages we send you
We send booking-related messages, such as confirmations, updates and OTPs, by SMS, WhatsApp, app notification or email. We only send promotional messages if you've agreed to receive them. You can stop them any time by contacting us.
13. Reviews and ratings
Ratings and reviews must reflect your own experience of a booking. Don't post reviews in exchange for payment or other benefits unless you clearly disclose it. Don't post fake, abusive or defamatory content. We may moderate or remove reviews that break these rules.
We may show your review on the Platform and in our marketing. We'll only show your name or your business's name alongside it if you give us permission.
14. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to access the Platform or its APIs, or send automated requests to our login and OTP systems;
- try to bypass our security, or probe, overload or disrupt the Platform;
- copy, decompile or reverse-engineer our apps or software;
- make fraudulent bookings, create fake accounts, or use a payment method you're not authorised to use;
- use the Platform to arrange work that avoids paying through RestoCare; or
- upload anything unlawful, harmful or that infringes someone else's rights.
We may suspend or block access, cancel bookings, and report unlawful activity to the authorities.
15. Intellectual property
The RestoCare name, logo, website, apps, software and content belong to Restroedge Private Limited or its licensors. We give you a limited, non-transferable right to use the Platform to make bookings and orders for your business. You may not copy, modify or reuse any part of it for any other purpose without our written permission.
16. Third-party services
The Platform relies on third-party services such as payment gateways, maps, messaging services and app stores. Their own terms apply when you use them. We aren't responsible for their availability or for how they operate.
17. Availability of the Platform
We work to keep the Platform running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, pause or discontinue features. Where a change affects a confirmed booking, we'll tell you.
18. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that can't be limited under Indian law, including liability for fraud.
Subject to that:
- Indirect losses. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. That includes lost profits, lost revenue, lost business or goodwill, or spoiled stock, including losses from a missed, late or shortened shift.
- Claims about a booking or order. Our total liability for any claim relating to a booking or order is limited to the amount you paid for that booking or order.
- Other claims. Our total liability for any other claim is limited to the total amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
19. Indemnity
You agree to compensate RestoCare for claims, losses and costs that arise from:
- your breach of these Terms,
- conditions at your premises,
- how you or your staff treat Service Partners, or
- your breach of any law.
20. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Platform at any time and delete your account at www.restocare.in/delete-account.
We may suspend or close your account if you:
- breach these Terms,
- act fraudulently,
- don't pay, or
- put Service Partners at risk.
If we close your account, confirmed bookings are refunded under the Refund & Cancellation Policy, unless we cancelled them because of your breach.
Sections that by their nature should survive closure keep applying after your account closes. These include payment, liability, indemnity and disputes.
21. Events beyond our control
Some events are outside our reasonable control, for example severe weather, strikes, government orders, network outages or public-health emergencies. We aren't liable for delays or cancellations they cause. If one of them stops us delivering a booking, we'll tell you as soon as we can and either reschedule the booking or refund you in full.
22. Privacy
How we collect and use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
23. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
If you have a problem, please contact us first. Most issues can be resolved through our support team or Grievance Officer (section 24). You can also approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
24. Grievance Officer
In line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, our Grievance Officer is:

25. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page. If a change is significant, we'll also tell you through the app, by email or on WhatsApp. If you keep using the Platform after an update, you accept the new Terms. A booking is governed by the Terms in force when it was made.
